Surveillance Video Captures Cell Phone Store Robbers

CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) – Surveillance images of three people who robbed a Coral Springs cell phone store last week have been released in hopes that someone recognizes those in the pictures gives the police a call.

Last Thursday, around 9:20 p.m., police received a call from employees at the T-Mobile store in the 1300 block of N University Drive who said they had just been robbed at gunpoint by two men and a woman.

The employees said one of the men and the woman were pretending to be customers when he pulled gun and ordered everyone to the back of the store.

That's when the second man ran into the store, went to the back room and restrained the employees with zip ties.

The trio then stole two dozen 25 Samsung Galaxy 3s cell phones and money.

In an effort to hamper the police, the two men damaged and stole parts of the video surveillance equipment.

Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the pictures is asked to call Detective Chris Collins at (954) 346-1262.
