Cool Start To The Weekend Across S. Fla.

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- After a record streak of 80 degree January weather, South Florida temperatures are finally feeling more winter-like.

We woke up to lows about 15 degrees less than Thursday.

Highs Friday will only be in the upper 60s to near 70 with clouds, sun and a cool northwest breeze.

It'll get a bit warmer over the weekend as temperatures moderate back into the mid 70s. Overall, it will be nice with partly sunny skies and a few passing showers possible. The rain chance increases to 30-percent on Saturday and Sunday.

Monday looks warmer with sun and highs near 80. Perfect weather for the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

The next cold front arrives Tuesday with temperatures dropping back into the 50s at night.
