MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Are you hungry for a great deal that will help a great cause at the same time?

On Wednesday January 9th, Pollo Tropical locations will trade you a free beef wrap for your old cell phone.

The “Handheld for a “Handheld” promotion benefits Women in Distress and the phones must be collected at any company-owned location.

There is no limit. You’ll get a free wrap for each phone donated. Phones do not have to be in working order, but they do need to have a battery. Pollo Tropical is hoping to collect 2,000 phones. All models will be accepted.

Collected phones that cannot be refurbished will be recycled for parts to help fund programs at Women In Distress. Money obtained from the collection will be used to help pay for emergency shelter, a crisis hotline, advocacy programs, children’s services and other programs for families affected by domestic violence.
