WEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – Surveillance video shows two suspects wearing hoods entered the King Barbershop on SW 8th Street then breaking a hole into the ceiling, apparently trying to get to the jewelry store next door.

But Arnaldo Sanchez didn’t know any of that when he says the alarm at his jewelry store went off.

“I came here right away to see what happened,” said Sanchez.

When he got to the store, he was puzzled because there was little evidence of a break-in.

“The only thing I find is this block on the floor. I check around…all around…nothing happened. When I check the barbershop, the barbershop was broke. The guy tried to go into my business from the wall connected to the barbershop,” Sanchez explained to CBS4′s Maggie Newland.

While he escaped without damage, the barbershop still shows signs of the break-in. Now the owners of both stores hope the video will lead to an arrest.

“I want to know who tried to rob me. That’s what I want to know, face to face. If the police arrest the guy, I want to see the face,” Sanchez said.
