A TV First: 'Hawaii Five-O' Lets Viewers Pick Ending In Real Time
(CBS) – In a television first, CBS viewers will pick the ending to a show in real time.
The Jan. 14 episode of "Hawaii Five-O" is a classic "whodunit", as the team investigates an Oahu State University professor's mysterious death.
Who of the three suspects committed the college crime: was it the professor's boss, his teaching assistant or a student caught cheating?
Viewers can pick the killer at CBS.com or Twitter and select #theBoss, #theTA or #theStudent.
"The votes will be tallied immediately and the most popular ending will become part of the broadcast," CBS said in a release.
Viewers in the East/Central and Pacific time zones will have the chance to select different endings.
All three possible endings can be seen at CBS.com after the episode airs. "Hawaii-Five" airs at 10 p.m. Mondays on CBS 4.
