‘Stomp’ Cast Makes Music With Merchandise At Whole Foods

CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) – Most music groups rehearse in a studio. On Wednesday, ‘Stomp’ rehearsed at the Whole Foods in Coral Springs.

‘Stomp’ percussionists stunned store customers by playing on random objects and store products at an 11:30 a.m. performance Wednesday.

The practice session had group members picking up more than milk cartons and watermelons, however.

For a month, the Whole Foods store – located at 810 N. University Drive – collected non-perishable goods; those donations were picked up by ‘Stomp’ cast members Wednesday. The donations will benefit the Broward Outreach Center of Pompano Beach, which provides shelter for homeless and hungry men, women and families.
