MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The pilot of a small single plane was forced to make an emergency landing on an access road on levee in southwest Miami-Dade.
Late Wednesday morning the Cessna 152 developed engine trouble in flight. The pilot made a safe three-point landing on the dirt and gravel road next to a canal near SW 205th Avenue and 168th Street.
The two people on board the plane, a pilot instructor and his student, were not hurt.
The FAA lists the registered owner of plane as Miami based Ja Menga Aircraft LLC.
