LITTLE HAVANA (CBSMiami) – The line has already started to form outside the Latin American Chamber of Commerce for its annual holiday food basket giveaway in Little Havana.

The food won’t be handed out until Wednesday morning but folks are already lined up and are ready to camp out overnight outside the CAMACOL building, located at 1401 West Flagler Street, in order to be some of the first to receive the free food.

CAMACOL handed out 3,000 vouchers several weeks ago and those with vouchers will exchange it for bags of food worth up to $200.

CAMACOL started this tradition of handing out Christmas dinner for families 28 years ago.

It’ll provide families the food they need to prepare a traditional Noche Buena dinner.

If you have a voucher, you are guaranteed the food.
