AVENTURA (CBSMiami) – Fashion-conscious bargain hunters are in for a treat for the holidays, a brand new H&M store is now open at the Aventura Mall.

It’s H&M’s third store in South Florida, just ten miles away from it’s new location on South Beach.

“It’s been a fantastic year with 43 openings in America and finally we are coming to Aventura in Miami. We are so happy,” said Daniel Kulle, President of H&M North America.  Kulle said he’s not concerned about the close proximity of both stores.

“With all the people living down here, all the tourists coming in and Miami being a very dense area, there’s a lot of money down here, we don’t see any problems that we can have a flagship down on Lincoln Road and a flagship in Aventura.”

The new 25,000-square-foot space opened at noon. About 100 people waited in line to be some of the first customers to snap up the company’s chic, affordable fashions that are the trademark of the Swedish retailer, whose full name is Hennes & Mauritz.

They also wanted to be part of the first 250 shoppers whoreceived an “Access to Fashion Pass” valued from $10 – $300 and free T-shirts.

Whether your style is trendy or more classic, there is something to mix and match at H&M. Prices range from under $5 for accessories to just under $100 for a wool coat but with the majority of the items priced below $50.

There are items for and accessories for men and women and also children’s clothing for ages newborn to age 8.

H&M opened a flagship store inside the historic art deco Lincoln Theatre in Miami Beach in November and has a store at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens.

Hours will be 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
