MIAMI (CBS4) – It’s the perfect combination of beauty, art and nature as one.  Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is host to one of 21 on site locations of Art Basel.

Sitting Naturally showcases a diverse collection of works of art by seven internationally renowned artist featuring unique benches and chandeliers.

“The idea is to create and inspire people to appreciate nature and art,” said Nannette Zapata from Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

Inspired by Fairchild’s lush, tropical landscape each artist created two pieces for sitting to be exhibited throughout the gardens.

Fairchild’s collection of exotic  palms, flowering trees, vines, orchids and other foliage serve as backdrop for works created by Gael Appler, Sam Baron, Pedro Barrail, Chrisophe Come, Michele Oka Doner, Sebastian Errazuriz and John Paul Philippe.
