CORAL GABLES (CBS4) – The “all clear” has been given on the campus of the University of Miami after it was locked down for a short time Wednesday night.
Students received an email from the school’s Emergency Notification Network just after 9 p.m. urging them to stay indoors because an armed man may be roaming the campus.
A follow up email was sent just before 10 p.m. declaring the situation to be resolved and the lockdown lifted.
When CBS4′s Gio Benitez arrived on scene a car was being searched by police. It is unclear what they were looking for or if any arrests were made.
