FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – The Broward Medical Examiner has confirmed that bones unearthed in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday were not human.
The bones were found at 2400 West Broward Boulevard near the Riverbend Corporate Park.
A construction crew had dug a hole near the sidewalk when they found the bones in the dirt.
Once they were sent to the ME’s office for testing, it was determined the bones were animal and not human.
