MIAMI (CBSMiami) – LinkedIn, the leading jobs network, has a new competitor: Facebook.

The popular social media site (NASDAQ: FB) added on Wednesday the Social Jobs App that includes 1.7 million job listings from services like Monster, BranchOut, Jobvite and more, the South Florida Business Journal reported, citing CNN.

Job seekers will be able to search for jobs by location, industry and keywords.

The app is part of Facebook’s Social Jobs Partnership initiative it formed in 2011 with the U.S. Department of Labor and three other nonprofit labor organizations.
