MIAMI (CBS4) – Those who served in the military could a receive a free gift of the furry kind this year to honor Veterans Day.
From Saturday, November 10th through Friday, November 16th, the Miami-Dade Animal Services Department will waive dog and cat adoption fees for all veterans.
Veterans interested in adopting are asked to bring proper military identification to the shelter, located at 7401 NW 74th Street in Miami on the days and times listed below:
Monday through Friday open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
