Deadline For Absentee Ballot Request Is Wednesday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Time is running out for people who want to vote by mail with an absentee ballot.

Wednesday Oct. 31st is the last day for voters to request absentee ballots for the Nov. 6 election.

You can request absentee ballots by phone, mail, or Internet but the request must be at the Supervisor of Elections Office by the end of the day Wednesday.

Once you get the ballot, don't delay. The ballots must be back at the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Postmarks don't count.

And don't forget to sign the voter certificate on the outside of the absentee ballot envelope.
