U.S. Marshals Seek Teen Suspect Wanted For Double Murder

MIAMI (CBS4) - The U.S. Marshals say Barton Hill, 19, is on the run from double murder charges.

"He's one of the most sought after fugitives in the city right now," said Deputy U.S .Marshal Barry Golden.

The teenager is on the run from an arrest warrant for a shooting spree in Little Haiti last month.   The feds say Hill and another man opened fire on 4 men who were watching Monday Night Football.

Two of those shooting victims, brothers, did not survive.

Hill's mother told CBS4's Brian Andrews she doesn't believe her son is capable of killing anyone.

"When I find out where he is, I'll be glad to take him, along with our lawyer, down to police to get this straightened out," said Barbara Hill.

Barton Hill has a criminal past for violent crimes, including armed robbery and attempted murder, dating back to the age of 16.

US Marshals Deputies believe he is still in the Miami area.   Anyone with information is asked to call 877-WANTED2.
