Robber Hits Up Pompano Gas Station Three Times In Two Weeks

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) — Police are stunned at the brazenness of a robber who struck the same gas station three times within two weeks.

The Broward Sheriff's Office released surveillance video on Wednesday hoping someone would recognize the serial robber, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Around 1 p.m. on September 24, the robber struck the Shell gas station at 3101 W. Atlantic Boulevard. In the video, he can be seen holding a knife and demanding the clerk open the store's cash register.

A similarly dressed man repeated the same type of robbery at the same store on October 3rd and again on October 7th.

In each of the robberies, the man carried what appears to be a knife and wore a white or tan shirt, a baseball cap and sunglasses.

Anyone with information should call BSO Detective Steven Hoover at 954- 321-4270 or contact Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477).

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel contributed material for this story.
