NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Police in North Miami seized more than a quarter of a million dollars in marijuana during their raid on a suspected grow house.

Wednesday night, undercover detectives served a warrant to search a home in the 1000 block of NE 130th Street. Inside, they reportedly found a sophisticated operation with 62 pot plants which weighed a total of 120 pounds. Police estimated street value of the marijuana at $360,000.00.

The man inside the home, 36-year old Nayip Negron, was arrested and charged with marijuana trafficking, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, grand theft and resisting arrest without violence.
