Reality Star's Son Charged In Homeless Attack

MIAMI BEACH (CBS4) – The son of a South Florida reality star has been arrested for reportedly beating a homeless man and posting the video of it online.

On Wednesday, 20-year-old Peter Rosello turned himself in to Miami Beach police.

Rosello, who is the son of Alexia Echeverria of the "Real Housewives of Miami" show, has been charged with battery on a homeless person, a 3rd degree felony that could mean up to five years in prison if convicted.

In the 36-second video clip, a person who police believe is Rosello walks up to a sleeping homeless man, says "Going to punch a hobo in the nuts" and then rears back and punches him in the groin before running off. Police have identified the homeless man as "Mr. Brown."

Detectives said the video was posted to Rosello's personal Facebook page before it was removed last week.

Last week, CBS4 caught up with Brown near the site of the attack on Lincoln Road.

"Are you ok with an arrest?" he was asked.

"Yep," he answered.

"It's what you wanted?" he was asked.

"Yep," he responded.

Hernandez said police have spoken to the man who was behind the camera in this incident. It's not known if he will be in any trouble. That is part of the investigation.
