FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – The Salvation Army of Broward County and WorkForce One Employment Solutions is seeking bell ringers for its upcoming Red Kettle Campaign during a job fair Friday and two other upcoming job fairs.

The job fairs are:

  • Friday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Workforce One South, 7550 Davie Road Extension, Hollywood.
  • Friday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Workforce One Central, 2610 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
  • Wed., Oct. 17, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Workforce One North, 2301 Sample Road, Pompano Beach.

They are looking to hire  energetic and outgoing, seasonal employees to help with fundraising efforts through its annual bell ringing campaign.

Positions start at $8.00 per hour but workers may be eligible for incentive bonuses.

You must be able to work Monday through Saturdays for 10 to 12 hour shifts beginning, as soon as November 16 and running through December 24.

According to the Salvation Army, each year, thousands of Salvation Army Red Kettles serve as collection stations around the world beginning in November, and continuing through Christmas Eve. Donations to the Red Kettles stay local, supporting programs in the communities in which they were received.

For job seekers unable to make a job fair, applications are available at: The Salvation Army of Broward County-Administration Building 1445 West Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Completed applications may be faxed to 954-467-0681 c/o Karen Bloemeke.
