Bank Atlantic In Deerfield Beach Robbed Again

DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) — A Bank Atlantic branch in Deerfield Beach was robbed for the second time in less than two months Saturday morning.

According to a teller, the robber was a male wearing a grey sweater, dark pants, baseball cap, gloves and a sheer woman's stocking over his head to conceal his face.

The teller said she believes it was the same man that robbed the bank on Aug. 8.

She said the armed man entered the front door of the bank at 1299 South Military Trail and chased security to the back of the building. He then jumped over the counter, took money from two cash drawers, stuffed it in a crème colored bag and demanded the tellers get on their knees on the floor.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of this suspect is urged to call the FBI at (305) 944-9101 or Crimestoppers.
