Bill Clinton To Rally Support For Pres. Obama Tuesday In Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Former President Bill Clinton will be in Miami on Tuesday to rally support for President Barack Obama.

During his speech, Clinton is expected to discuss what's at stake for Florida and why it's important to keep President Obama's plans for the future of this country moving forward.

"President Obama has already cut taxes for a typical family by $3,600 since taking office – helping families send their kids to college, buy their first home, and pay for health and child care," according to a release from In a release from Obama for America-Florida. "The President also placed seniors' health at the forefront of his administration, securing $4,200 in savings for all beneficiaries and closing the gap, known as the "doughnut hole," by $600."

Tuesday's event at Florida International University's arena is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for entrance. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.  Doors will open to attendees at 4:30 p.m.

To pick up your ticket, visit one of the following locations beginning Sunday, September 9th.  A limited number of tickets will be handed out.

On Monday an allotment of tickets will be available at the above to locations and at FIU beginning at 9 a.m.
