Dolphins cut day:
It’s bloody Friday in the NFL when each team has to cut 22 players to get down to 53.
The bloodletting has already started with some teams.
The big name to watch from the Dolphins will be David Garrard, also don’t be surprised if Michael Egnew doesn’t make it either.
They’re working out corners with pulses and wide receivers with pulses, so they may give us a call.
Always love it when a team has to wait for the other teams to throw scraps to fill in our starting lineup.
That’s a recipe for disaster.
It’s also known as Ireland-ball.
At least no one Ireland’s ever signed has been beaten for a 99-yard touchdown pass…um….at least his first head coaching hire was….um….at least his first quarterback drafted was u…..well, he’s not been arrested, so he’s got that going for him.
That’s it for the brief agenda today.
We’ll look at my picks on Tuesday as the agenda takes a day off for Labor Day on Monday. Yes, it’s not without a certain sense of irony that we celebrate working by not working.
