With Isaac Gone, What's Next For Our Weather?

MIAMI (CBSMiami) — From CBS4 Meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez:

We're still feeling the impacts of Tropical Storm Isaac across South Florida on this Monday.

Expect wet and windy weather, thanks to all the deep tropical moisture wrapping around Isaac as it moves away from us and towards the Gulf of Mexico.

A Wind Advisory is in place until 6pm Monday for most of mainland South Florida, due to winds gusts of 35 mph or higher.

A Flood Watch is in effect for South Florida through Monday evening owing to a continued potential for heavy rain. Some areas are already flooded and it is best to avoid driving through waters of unknown depth.

The Tropical Storm Warning for coastal waters was cancelled with the 11 a.m. advisory.

> Here's Lissette's forecast:

CBS4 Meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez said that throughout the day, expect gusty squalls with heavy downpours in spots and strong winds.

For tonight, Lissette said that winds will continue to blow at 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts of 32 miles per hour or stronger.

Tomorrow will still be breezy with some passing storms.

The rest of the week looks better: about a 40 % chance of storms on Wednesday and then rain chance decrease a bit late week and into the Labor Day weekend with a 30% chance of storms Friday through Sunday.
