SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) — This week marks 20-years since Hurricane Andrew devastated South Miami-Dade, changing its landscape and its future forever.
There are many images from the storm frozen in our minds but one iconic shot is the aviary at Miami’s Zoo Miami, known then as MetroZoo. More than 100 exotic birds were lost due to the storm and damage.
