Why has Homeowners Insurance Rates risen approx. 300% since 2008? Covered risk under HO is liability and fire, nothing to do with windstorm/hurricane or flood.

Last week, there was a helicopter flying over the gen'l area between NW 12th ST/NW 6th ST, and Bet. 132nd & 137th AVE for 3 consecutive days. Does anyone know why?

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – Miami Beach Fire Rescue paramedics were unable to save a woman pulled from ocean on Sunday.

Around 3:30 p.m., the woman, who was described as being in her 50s, was brought ashore near 56th Street and Collins Avenue.

Miami Beach police spokeswoman Det. Vivian Hernandez said rescue workers did everything they could. They rushed her to Mt. Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The woman’s name has been withheld pending the notification of her next of kin.

Police did list a cause of death.
