MIAMI (CBSMiami) — The South Florida Muslim community continues to celebrate Ramadan after taking a moment to break their fast.
The Islamic School of Miami hosted an “Iftar” dinner and an open house on Wednesday night.
Ramadan is Muslim’s sacred month which includes a daily fast for 30 days, from dawn to sunset.
Wednesday night’s event had a special meaning and brought together those who attended and remembered those lives lost at the Sikh temple shooting in Wisconsin.
