18 Migrants Land On Riviera Beach
WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) – Using a homemade boat powered by a 1950's Russian car engine, 18 migrants made their way to South Florida early Wednesday morning.
Around 2 a.m. the 16 men and two women arrived in a 21 foot boat in Riviera Beach, according to CBS affiliate WPEC in West Palm Beach.
The 18 migrants, who are believed to be from Cuba, were taken to an immigration processing center to verify their identities.
