Business Supplies Free Uniforms To Miami-Dade Students
MIAMI (CBSMiami) — For South Florida families, back-to-school costs can be tough to tackle, yet others cannot afford these necessary items at all.
Our Kids of Miami-Dade and Monroe Inc. and Neat Stuff uniform store have came to the rescue Friday for nearly 2,000 Miami adoptive and foster kids.
The kids received about $120 worth of clothes, including five shirts and three pairs of pants during the giveaway.
Event organizers estimated they supplied more than $200,000 worth of uniforms.
