Early Voting Begins Saturday In Miami-Dade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Eager to cast your ballot and avoid last-minute lines? Early voting in Miami-Dade County will begin Saturday.

From Saturday, August 4 through Saturday, August 11, registered voters can cast their ballot at the location most convenient for them.  Each of the 20 Early Voting sites conveniently located throughout Miami-Dade County will be open from 7:00am-7:00pm each day.

Voters are encouraged to be "Election Ready" before heading to vote by reviewing their personalized sample ballot on the Elections Department website. This allows voters to see exactly what is on their ballot in advance so they are prepared before casting their vote.

"Voters are also reminded that while this is a Primary Election, all registered voters regardless of party affiliation are eligible to vote in this election," stated Supervisor of Elections Penelope Townsley. "We encourage all voters to participate."

For the list of Early Voting locations, access to the sample ballot, any additional information, please visit  www.miamidade.gov/elections or call 3-1-1.
