One Dead In Little Havana Apartment Shooting

MIAMI (CBS4) - City of Miami Police are trying to determine who opened fire on a man in a Little Havana apartment, killing him.

Police detectives on the scene tell CBS4's Summer Knowles that the victim entered an apartment on the 900 block of Southwest 2nd Street just before 7 p.m. Wednesday. He was let in by residents inside the unit.

Moments later, witnesses report hearing several gunshots. When police entered the unit they found the unidentified victim dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Everyone inside the apartment at the time was detained for questioning. The motive for the shooting is unknown.

Detectives say they are looking for one additional person who may have accompanied the victim into the apartment and may have fled the scene after the shooting.
