Dolphins' "Family Day At Training Camp" This Saturday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins have three special practices for fans before the kick off of the upcoming season.

This Saturday, July 28th, the Dolphins will hold their first weekend training camp practice. The Family Day at Training Camp will take place at the team's training facility on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie. Families are invited to watch the free practice which begins at 8:00 a.m. Some of the day's activities will include a Gatorade Junior Training Camp for kids, Training Camp facility tours, specialty food vendors, Miami Dolphins cheerleader autographs, player autographs, interactive games, inflatables and a prize wheel.

Training camp begins Friday, and the gang's all ready:

A week after Family Day at Training Camp, the Dolphins will hold Back to Football morning practice at Sun Life Stadium on Saturday August 4th. The practice is scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m. and will feature the first intra-squad scrimmage of training camp as well as entertainment and activities, special experiences and promotions.

In addition to the practice, fans can catch the first full squad performance of the 2012 Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders and purchase used Miami Dolphins helmets, uniforms, and other sideline apparel at the Dolphins Equipment Room garage sale.

The first 1,000 fans attending the August 4th practice will receive two complimentary tickets to one of the two Dolphins home pre-season games.

The third unique practice will take place on Wednesday, August 8th, as the team will take to the field under the lights in Davie for the only night practice of 2012. The two hour practice is scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m.

All 14 practices are open to the public except the one on Sunday, August 12th which will be exclusive to season ticket members.

The Fins play their first pre-season game against Tampa Bay on Friday, Augut 10th, at Sun Life Stadium. The game, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m., will air on CBS4.
