Police: Hollywood Man Forced Girl To Drink Substance, Fondled Her

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – A 17-year-old girl never envisioned a relaxing afternoon walk would transform into a nightmare that would change her life forever.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports Eloy Posada, 41, of Hollywood, was arrested Thursday after kidnapping a girl at gunpoint, forcing her to drink an unknown substance then sexually assaulting her, police said.

Posada faces charges of sexual assault with a weapon and kidnapping, according to a Hollywood arrest report. He was being held without bond Friday in the Broward County jail.

On May 29, a 17-year-old girl was walking home when Posada allegedly came up to her and tried to talk to her. She ignored him, police said, and continued walking home. The girl told investigators said she did not know Posada.

Posada followed her and poked her back with a handgun, police said. When the victim turned around, he pointed the weapon about 2 inches away from her waist, the report said.

Posada then grabbed the girl by the arm and led her to his home at the Cambridge Square Apartments in the 6700 block of Johnson Street.

According to the report:

About 4 p.m., Posada locked his door, stepped into his bedroom and came out naked from the waist down. He made her drink a substance which the victim noted had a film at the bottom of the glass. He gave her about four to five glasses of the drink, that police said possibly contained alcohol.

The girl told detectives she felt intoxicated and came in and out of consciousness only to find that her clothes had been removed. Posada fondled her private parts, she said, and stood above her while attempting to have her perform oral sex.

He later walked her outside where a friend of the victim found the girl walking home in an intoxicated state. Hollywood Fire-Rescue took the teen to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

According to police, the teen picked Posada out of a photo lineup last month. He was arrested without incident at his apartment complex.
