Showtime To Debut The Franchise Featuring Marlins Wednesday
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Miami Marlins are in some desperate need of publicity after a miserable first half of the season and not having a player represent the team in the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
But publicity is coming in a big way starting Wednesday night when Showtime, which is also owned by CBS, will air the first episode of the TV series "The Franchise" featuring the Marlins.
The first episode will be one hour in length and the seven episodes after that will list a half-hour.
The series will give fans exclusive access to the team as the squad begins it's debut season in Marlins Park.
The series will debut at 10 p.m. Wednesday.
