MIAMI (CBS4) – Even if you are not a sports fan, you have to appreciate how a championship team can do wonders for a community and bring us all together in celebration.
And South Florida should be proud of how it celebrated.
Other cities have seen their parties turn into riots.
But the Heat Nation partied peacefully on Thursday when the Heat became the N-B-A champs with pots and pans, maracas and conga lines, in a way only South Floridians can.
And it was the same today: the team made us proud and the fans’ behavior should make us proud as well.
