BSO Seeks Armed, Masked Bank Bandit

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is searching for a bold bank bandit who hopped the counter armed with a gun and demanded cash.

The robbery took place at a Chase bank branch, located at 2285 N. Federal Highway shortly after 10:00 a.m.

BSO officials said the bandit was armed and wearing a stocking mask when the heist went down.

He jumped the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money then ran from the scene.

Deputies set up a perimeter and are searching for a white male, between 5’6“-5’10“ in height, wearing blue jeans and a striped shirt.
