Bodies Found In West Miami-Dade Marsh Identified

WEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police have identified the bodies of two people who were discovered in a marshy area of West Miami-Dade on Monday and also confirmed they are same two young people reported missing just two days earlier.

According to police,  the bodies of 19-year-old Marcos Pomares, of Miami and 18-year-old Hector Miranda, of Doral were found in the area of NW 133rd Avenue and 25th Street Monday, June 11th.Both Pomares and Miranda were reported missing Saturday, June 9th.

According to investigators, the cause of death remains unclassified and is pending toxicology results from the Medical Examiner's Office.
