Wade's Fatherhood Book To Be Released Sept. 4
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - While Dwyane Wade continues to pursue his second NBA championship in the NBA Finals; the Heat guard has set a release date for his forthcoming book on fatherhood.
Wade spent much of the lockout working on the book he titled "A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball." The book will be released September 4.
The book will be printed by William Morrow, part of HarperCollins Publishers.
Wade will discuss in the book how the custody fight for his two sons and how his difficult childhood in Chicago shaped his role as a father now.
Wade and the Miami Heat look to even up the NBA Finals on Thursday night after losing Game 1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
