Nude Man Arrested After Confronting Girl In Park
NORTH MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) - A woman and her three year old daughter ran in fear from the tot lot at a North Miami Beach park after a complete naked man stood up from a bench, exposed himself, and told the girl what he's like to do to her.
41-year-old Shane Shuyler of North Miami Beach was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious acts after the woman called police and complained.
She told police that she and her daughter had entered the park at 20th Avenue and NE 168th street and were headed to the tot lot when they saw Schuyler lying on a park bench. The woman said the man was completely naked and his genitals were exposed.
She told police she tried to walk past the man, but said he stood up, exposed his genitals to the girl, asked him to come to her, and suggested what he's like to do with her.
The woman fled her with daughter. The man never got close to them.
Police called to the park started a search, and found Shuyler, who matched the woman's description.
Police said he admitted being in the park naked and laying on the bench with his genita;s exposed. They arrested him and charged him with the lewdness counts.
Neither the mother nor her daighter was hurt.
