MIAMI (CBSMiami) – As if the thought of going to the dentist wasn’t scary enough, a Hollywood man reportedly took it to another level with his ‘patients’.

Jorge Luis Romero-Paredes is charged with practicing dentistry without a license.

Hallandale Beach Police Department tracked down and arrested the 57 year-old Wednesday at his home.

Romero-Paredes went to the home of one of his victims and performed dental procedures, which later resulted to the loss of a tooth and an oral infection, according to police.

Detective Edward McGovern conducted the investigation and believes that Romero-Paredes has performed unlicensed dentistry on other patients.
