The Cluck Stops Here, Folks Camp Out For Free Chick-fil-A

PEMPROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – Camping out for hours in the hot sun and sleeping over night on the pavement in tents are what many people plan to do to win free meals for year from Chick-fil-A.

The fast food chicken favorite gives out free food to the first 100 people in line whenever they open a new location. That's why you'll probably seen dozens of people camping out in front of their new free-standing restaurant, located at 12203 Pines, before its Grand Opening on June 7th.

Over the years, the "first 100" has grown in popularity, causing participants to camp out for the freebies.

In order to qualify for the free meals, you must be 18 years or older, arrive no earlier than 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, and not leave the line for longer than a brief restroom break.

If more than 100 people are in line by 6 a.m. Wednesday, the 100 spots will be determined by a raffle.
