MIAMI (CBSMiami) – There are 164 million reasons why you might want to play the Powerball Lottery Saturday. The jackpot has swelled to $164 million dollars.

It’s not the largest Powerball jackpot but it is still quite large.

The top prize has been climbing since a player in Pennsylvania won a $173 million jackpot on April 25.

Folks in Florida and 41 other states will be vying for the prize and hoping lady luck will bring them the winning numbers.

The odds of winning any lottery prize is about 1 in 32, but the odds of winning the jackpot is about 1 in 175 million.

Powerball is played in 42 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
