Sketches Released Of Home Invasion Robbery Suspects

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well Miami-Dade police are hoping it's also worth a call to Crime Stoppers so they can nail a pair of home invasion robbers.

On Wednesday police released sketches of two men who forced their way into a home in the 300 block of SW 121st Avenue on March 30th at gun point. Once inside they tied up a mother, her two young children and a 19-year old woman confined to a wheelchair. They then ransacked the home and made off with cash and valuables.

Police said one of the men wore a police style shirt and carried a badge.

The robbers were described as being in their fifties and the dark haired man may go by the nickname "Gaucho."

Anyone with information on the men is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
