Wrestlemania Set For Sunday At Sun Life

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The professional wrestling fans and stars have soaked up the sun all week in South Florida and Sunday will finally bring about the culmination of Wrestlemania week, Wrestlemania XXVIII.

This year's event, Wrestlemania XXVIII, will have a main event featuring what's been dubbed as a "Once in a Lifetime" match between Miami's own "The Rock" Dwyane Johnson and WWE superstar John Cena.

But before the big event on Sunday will be the annual Wrestlemania AXXess events that provide fans an opportunity to get involved with various parts of the WWE. This year's AXXess will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Among the events you can take part in this year: The Cenation Action Zone, Out Think The Fink, the Superstar Entrance, and many other attractions.

The actual Wrestlemania card feature not only the main event, but a who's who of WWE superstars.

There will be a grudge match between the legendary "Undertaker" and Triple H. The bout between the two will be fought inside a "Hell in a Cell" steel cage and will have a special referee, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. The Undertaker is looking to extend his undefeated Wrestlemania streak to 20-0 in the match.

Also scheduled for the show will be a match between Team Teddy Long vs. Team John Laurinaitis where the winner will get control of both RAW and Smackdown. Team Teddy will have Santino Marella, R-Truth, The Great Khali, Kofi Kingston, and Zack Ryder against Team Johnny with David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and Christian. One final spot is available on each team.

The WWE Championship will be decided between CM Punk and Chris Jericho while the World Heavyweight Championship will feature a match between champion Daniel Bryan and Royal Rumble winner Sheamus.

The Big Show will take on Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton will battle The Big Red Machine "Kane," and the WWE Divas will have Kelly Kelly and celebrity Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres.
