Major Delays At Metrorail’s University Station

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – Miami police are investigating a death at the Metrorail’s University Station.

Miami-Dade Transit said a body was removed from under one of the Metrorail cars at the station, located at 5400 Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Police have not said if the person jumped or fell.

Commuters who leave from the station or pass through it can expect major delays because both northbound and southbound trains are being routed onto one track. The second track is closed for the police investigation.

Not only Monday, but also Monday morning around 7-8 am. That evoke what happened on March 30th 2009. As I remember it was Monday morning around 7-8 am I was on my way to school when a man jumped in the train track in South Miami station. As I understand it, Monday morning may be a hard day. The beginning of the week that people have to go to work and they’re tired and stress. Probably some profanities from the last one who is dead and try to look for someonelse to replace him on the train track.
