Anibal Set For Second Spring Start

JUPITER, Fla. (CBSMiami) – For just the second time this season, the Miami Marlins will send right-handed pitcher Anibal Sanchez to the mound this spring Monday.

Sanchez's first spring start saw him throw two scoreless innings where he allowed two hits and struck out four batters.

Sanchez will take on the Astros Monday. He had been held back earlier in the spring due to an issue with his throwing shoulder. The Marlins are not concerned about Sanchez missing any time in the season at this point.

Last season, Sanchez helped carry the Marlins after the squad's ace, Josh Johnson, went down early in the season. Sanchez went 13-12 with a 3.55 ERA in 2011.
