UM Playing Minnesota Next In NIT
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – While much of the attention Thursday has been focused on the NCAA Tournament, the Miami Hurricanes are flying high after their first round win in the National Invitation Tournament.
The Canes announced Thursday the school will face the Minnesota Golden Gophers at the Bank United Center on Monday, March 19 at 9 p.m. The game will be shown nationally on ESPN.
UM said all tickets for the game will be just $10 and are currently on sale. Fans can buy tickets for the Miami-Minnesota NIT game by calling Ticketmaster or by going to hurricanesports.com.
Miami was the second team left out of the NCAA Tournament last Sunday, according to the NCAA selection committee.
