Ultimate NCAA Upset Means Free Pizza For All

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Everyone cheers for the underdog and the big upset in sports. But there's one upset that has eluded the NCAA Tournament ever since it expanded to 64 teams; a number 16 seed knocking off a number 1 seed.

That could be why Pizza Hut may be confident about not having to pay out its newest promotion. The pizza chain announced Wednesday that if a number 16 seed can knock off a number 1 seed, it would give away free pizza across the country.

That doesn't mean you can call up a Pizza Hut and get a free pizza if the ultimate upset happens. Instead, Pizza Hut's mobile kitchen will travel from state to state offering free slices of pizza at specific locations.

The full details of the tour will be announced if a team is able to pull off an upset.

So if you're wanting some free pizza, make sure you cheer for these teams to win their respective games: Western Kentucky to beat Kentucky; LIU-Brooklyn to beat Michigan State; UNC-Asheville to beat Syracuse; or the winner of Lamar versus Vermont to beat North Carolina.
