Casey Anthony's Lawyers Want To Keep Her Location A Secret

ORLANDO (CBSMiami) – Lawyers for Casey Anthony are trying to keep a secret location where she is serving probation just that – a secret.

Monday morning attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman suing Anthony in civil court for defamation, asked the judge to order Anthony's defense team to turn over her address so they could serve a subpoena.

Anthony's attorneys countered that the fewer people who know where she is better because they've received death threats against her, family members and members of her legal team.

Attorneys for Gonzalez used videoconferencing to depose Anthony before the trial.

Anthony told detectives in 2008 that her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, was kidnapped by a nanny named Zenaida Gonzalez. Detectives later discovered no such baby sitter existed. However, Gonzalez maintains when her name made headlines, her reputation was ruined.

Anthony was acquitted of killing Caylee and released from jail in July 2011. She is currently serving probation on an unrelated check fraud charge.
