More Flights To Cuba Added For Papal Visit

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) – South Floridians who wanted to accompany Archbishop Thomas Wenski to Cuba later this month to see the pope but couldn't because the flights were booked up now have another chance.

The Archdiocese of Miami has announced additional flights to Cuba for Pope Benedict XVI's upcoming visit.

The church says extra flights are available from Fort Lauderdale on March 24 and Miami on March 25 and 27.

The pope arrives in Santiago on March 26 and will hold an outdoor mass to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the image of Virgin of Charity, Cuba's patron saint. He will travel on to Havana the following day.
